1. Introduction & Zero-Log Architecture

At MdiskPlay (accessible from mdiskplay.org), one of our fundamental engineering tenets is the preservation of user privacy. This Privacy Policy documents the minimal categories of information processed when you visit or interact with our web video player utility.

🔒 Strict Zero URL Retention Guarantee

When you enter a video URL from TeraBox, Mdisk, or Telegram into MdiskPlay, the URL is processed ephemerally on the client-side within your active browser session. We do NOT store, database, log, or associate submitted sharing URLs with your IP address or personal identity.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not require registration, passwords, email sign-ups, or social logins to use the player.
  • No Watch History Records: We do not record which video links you stream or how long you view them.
  • No Payment Details: The service is completely free and requires no credit cards or banking info.

3. Local Storage & Cookies

MdiskPlay does NOT set tracking cookies for profiling or advertising retargeting. We utilize standard browser <code>localStorage</code> solely to remember your preferred UI appearance (Dark Mode vs Light Mode). This preference stays on your local device and is never transmitted to our servers.

4. Third-Party Cloud Providers & Sandboxing

When you stream a video from an external host (e.g., TeraBox), your browser establishes a direct HTTPS connection to that provider's media servers. Any data handled by the external provider is subject to their independent privacy policies. To protect your session, MdiskPlay loads external player frames inside isolated HTML5 sandboxes with restricted permissions.

5. Rights Under GDPR and CCPA

Depending upon your jurisdiction (including the European Union and the State of California), you possess statutory rights regarding personal data. Because MdiskPlay does not maintain user accounts or personal profiles, we hold no user data to sell, disclose, or delete. If you contact our support desk, your email address is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is never shared.
