What Happened to Pdisk? (Complete Historical Retrospective)
Between late 2019 and early 2022, Pdisk (operating primarily under `pdisk.net`, `pdisk.pro`, `cofilink.com`, and `kofilink.com`) reigned as the most popular video hosting network on Telegram. With its high pay-per-view affiliate payouts and direct player integration, millions of shortlinks were shared across thousands of channels.
However, in early 2022, coordinated international copyright enforcement and domain registry actions systematically seized Pdisk's core domain portfolio. The backend storage clusters housing the video files were permanently terminated. Consequently, all original video files hosted on Pdisk servers became inaccessible worldwide.

⚠️ Malware Threat Alert: Fake Pdisk "Unlockers"
Because millions of old Pdisk links remain archived on Telegram channels, malicious actors frequently register expired domain names or typosquatting mirrors (e.g. `pdisk-player.apk`, `pdisk-download.site`). These pages claim that installing their proprietary APK or browser extension will "restore deleted videos". In reality, these packages contain aggressive Trojans, notification hijackers, and subscription billers. Under no circumstances should you install software promising to revive Pdisk links.

Mdisk & Diskwala Advisory →How to Recover Content From Broken Pdisk Links
If you have an old Pdisk link and desperately need to locate the associated media file, follow these practical recovery steps:
- Extract the Title / Video Code: Examine the Telegram message where the Pdisk link was originally posted. Channel admins almost always list the exact movie title, season/episode number, or filename directly above or below the link.
- Search Telegram Channel Archives: Use Telegram's internal search with the extracted title. Most major channels re-uploaded their libraries to TeraBox or direct Telegram file storage following the Pdisk shutdown.
- Stream the Replacement with MdiskPlay: Once you locate the replacement TeraBox or direct cloud link, paste it into MdiskPlay for clean, immediate playback.

Frequently Asked Questions: Pdisk Service Status
No. Because the physical storage servers and database clusters of Pdisk were permanently dismantled in 2022, no software on earth can stream or download videos from original pdisk.net or pdisk.pro links. Any website claiming otherwise is a deceptive phishing or malware portal.
Cofilink, Kofilink, and Cpubox were domain mirrors operating on the same underlying Pdisk infrastructure. When the core platform went offline, all associated mirrors were seized or abandoned simultaneously.
Many automated Telegram channels run automated bot reposting scripts that recirculate old message archives from 2020–2021 without checking whether the destination links are still functioning.
Leave a comment or send a message to the group moderators requesting an updated TeraBox or direct cloud link so you can view it via MdiskPlay.
The Internet Archive only captures lightweight HTML webpages, not multi-gigabyte video stream payloads. While the landing page text might be indexed on Wayback, the underlying video media files are not archived.
No. Legal injunctions and registrar bans make a revival of the original brand impossible. Modern webmasters have permanently shifted to TeraBox, Diskwala, and private Telegram CDNs.
No. Any APK online labeled "Pdisk" today is an unverified package created by third-party scammers. Do not download or install them on your mobile device.
